Please join me in congratulating Robert Hood from the Allen Harim dedicated account in Harbeson Delaware for being selected as the May 2015 Northeast Region Driver of the Month. Robert is a million mile safe driver and a 19 year employee of JB Hunt.
Allen Harim has had many operational milestones since it
started up, but on the safety side the account has had 3 accidents since
start up and 0 Work comp. This is because
of the detailed training Robert gives all the new drivers. He has also held many different positions
over different divisions within our company, some of those include: C&S,
Home Depot, Weyerhaeuser, Georgia Pacific, Rite Aid, Intermodal and many others. Robert is also the accounts onsite small parts
mechanic, he keeps the trailers moving and ready to go by doing repairs on mud-flaps,
license plates and lights. Robert is the
driver who is given new stops, so that he can write up clear directions for the
other drivers. His dedication to this account speaks for itself by the
professional way he works through any issues that arise. Robert is a pleasure
to work with - reliable, dependable, and doing his job with precision in bad
weather and good weather. He is committed to JB Hunt and the safety culture
we’ve established. . There have been multiple occasions where
Allens Harim and their customer have given us feedback about the
professionalism that he displays not only on the yard but outside of the yard
as well, Robert is the epitome of what every driver should strive to become
over their career. He is an asset to our
customers, our accounts and our company. For his selection Robert will receive a certificate of achievement, a personal letter from the VP of operations and a cash award. In addition Roberts photo will be displayed on the DCS wall of fame in Lowell and each dedicated account throughout the region. Robert now becomes eligible for the prestigious Driver of the year award along with the other winners in 2015.
