Northeast Region Driver of the Month - October 2018

Please join me in congratulating William Hoefsmit from our C&S Brattleboro Vermont location for being selected as the northeast region driver of the month. William who is known as "Skip" joined the JB Hunt team in 2014,  and has been an asset to our team throughout the last four years. For example, recently, Skip has helped us out by covering one of our more difficult military routes. He also canceled his planned vacation to ensure the load would be covered while the other driver was out. Skip also has an excellent safety record and ensures he completes his safety training in a timely manner.

One of the main things that sets Skip apart from the average driver is his dedication to the success of the account.  Skip has extensive knowledge of automotive/diesel mechanics picked up during a life long career in trucking.  Before and after runs, Skip spends time educating the Brattleboro fleet on proper maintenance practices.  His expertise has helped Brattleboro become one of those most cost effective accounts in New England.

If you ask C & S about Skip, they will quickly describe him as having “braggingly happy customers.”  Skip is well known in the C & S world for his customer service.  Skip doesn’t complain about challenges at his deliveries.  He partners with his customers to find solutions.
