Northeast Region Driver of the month March 2020

Please join me in congratulating Doug McCray Jr for being selected as the Northeast Region driver of the month for March of 2020. 

Doug  is one of our Driver Trainers and comes with a wealth of knowledge.  Doug is also our Smith System certified trainer.  He not only trains Mountaire account drivers but also helps out Perdue Live Haul, Selbyville and Allen Harim accounts as well.  Doug has completed Close Quarters training with all the accounts mentioned.  Doug is committed to making JB Hunt a success in Live Haul.  He cares about the drivers he trains and wants to ensure they are being safe and doing their jobs correctly.  He has been to most, if not all of the farms we service and is very helpful with letting other drivers know the best and safest way to get to the farms, enter the farms and exit the farms. Doug is always willing to help out the account with getting equipment to a farm or picking up an extra chicken load. Doug is the go to person when a special event happens such as an electrical failure at a farm, he knows how to get the fans there and to set them up properly for the minimal casualties of birds.  Furthermore Doug takes great care of the truck that he drives daily, he takes pride in the equipment that he takes to and from the farm and he is always a extremely safe driver.  He is certainly an asset to this account and is always a pleasure to work with!  Doug is the epitome of a professional driver trainer!
