Please join me in congratulating Marcos Gomez from the C&S Chester NY account for being selected as the northeast region driver of the month for July. Marcos came aboard with JB Hunt in September of 2013 and has been an integral part of the success since providing transportation for one of the biggest clients in dedicated contract services history. Marcos is a certified trainer at the account and also holds the title of "Super Trainer". That position not only assists in the process of bringing on new employees but also works with existing employees by helping them sharpen their skills. Marcos is a Smith System certified instructor and helps drivers apply the defensive driving techniques in NYC. The Chester location primarily operates in the 5 boroughs of NYC and Marcos routinely handles 3-4 stops loads delivering in the always challenging Manhattan borough. Marcos has a terrific attitude and is very quick to assist his peers which makes him a great choice to represent the northeast region. For his selection Marcos will receive a cash award, a certificate of achievement , his picture displayed at all northeast region locations and the wall of fame at DCS headquarters in Lowell Arkansas. Marcos will also become eligible for the prestigious driver of the year award selected in January 2016.
