Northeast Region Driver of the Month September 2015

 

Please join me in congratulating  Kevin Braban from the C&S Newburgh NY  location for representing the Northeast region as the September 2015 Driver of the Month. 

Kevin has been an instrumental part to the operation since the start up.  He has helped lead and bridge the gap from Webster to JB Hunt.  With leaders like Kevin, C&S Newburgh was able to hold a large majority of experienced drivers which has made Newburgh into one of the most Safety driven, Utilization focused, Low turnover, C&S accounts in the network.  These attributes help successfully maintain an 11 million dollar revenue account, which fuels the north east with DCS Revenue.  Below will further express how big of an impact Kevin gave to the account.

 

            The biggest headline at JB Hunt is safety and Kevin is a leader in Safety.  He has zero accidents, zero incidents, zero injuries, and zero negative observations.  Recently, Kevin helped the Newburgh account achieve One million accident free miles.  More importantly, Kevin is receiving a reward for being one of five top drivers at the account that contributed to the One Million accident free miles.  He will be recognized by his peers and senior management for his efforts in safety during an organized event.  But his efforts don’t end there.  He has been observed helping drivers, new and experienced, understand how to properly navigate a delivery point.  Specifically, he will do this without any outside influence.  He goes out of his way to educate the fleet.  This valuable knowledge helps other drivers prevent the possibility of a safety event.   For his selection Kevin will be awarded a certificate of achievement, his photo posted throughout the region and at DCS headquarters in Lowell Arkansas.  In addition Kevin now becomes eligible for the prestigious driver of the year which will be announced in January 2016.
