Please join me in congratulating Nate Sterner from the Big Y account in
Chicopee Massachusetts for being selected as the northeast region driver of the
month. Nate has been with JB Hunt since 2012 and has shown himself to be
a safe, competent and customer focused driver. . He’s always
willing to do what needs to be done, and is happy to go the extra mile whenever
we need him to. He volunteers for the tougher loads, helps out new
drivers on the account, and asks for extra work when it’s available.
Since he started here, he’s had zero service failures and zero delivery issues,
demonstrating his sharp attention to detail. His efficiency has
been great, as well, often taking 3 or even 4 loads during a busy night.
Despite being one of the more efficient drivers on the account, he’s had no
incidents or collisions in his time at Big Y. Perhaps most noteworthy is
Nate’s attitude – when he comes in, he’s there to work, and is always
interested in what he can do to help out. Whether it’s a customer need,
something with the equipment, or a particularly odd load, Nate is there to get
the job done – and he does so with a smile. When you consider his safety
record, attention to detail, efficiency, and positive attitude, it’s a great
start to the year to have Nate represent the northeast region. Nate's
photo will be displayed at all northeast dedicated locations and at DCS headquarters
in Lowell Arkansas. In addition he will receive a cash award, a
certificate of achievement and be considered for the prestigious 2016 driver of
the year.
