Please join me in congratulating Rodney Taggart from the Home Depot account in Breinigsville Pennsylvania for being selected as the July northeast region driver of the month. Rodney has been with JB Hunt since 2004 and just surpassed the 12 year mark. Rodney who has a strong safety record with zero preventable collisions also serves as a certified driver trainer. Rodney takes pride in being a trainer and building on the skills of new employees. Rodney frequently trains drivers transitioning from the military and helps them build a career in trucking at JBH. His patience and ability to help others with his great attitude make him an easy selection to represent the northeast region for July.
Most recently Rodney participated in a "take your child to work" day on site at a JBH customer. Rodney represented JBH and interacted with over 100 children to teach them about transportation. He also spoke to the children about the importance of wearing a seat belt and being cautious when crossing the street. This is the 3rd year Rodney has been invited to participate in this event and he does a great job of representing our organization. For his selection Rodney will receive a certificate of achievement, a cash award and his photo displayed in all northeast region locations and at JBH headquarters in Lowell Arkansas. Rodney will also be considered for the prestigious driver of the year along with the other monthly winners. Keep up the good work Rodney.
