Northeast Region Driver of the Month - July 2018

Please join me in congratulating Jose Armenteros -Rodriguez for being selected as the NE Region driver of the month.   Jose works at our Camden Iron and Metal account headquartered in Bellmawr NJ.  Jose joined J.B. Hunt in 2016 when the account first opened and has been a steady professional since day one.  Jose was asked to train multiple drivers in July as the account is rapidly growing.  All the new drivers have positive feedback about Jose and reach out to him even when the training period is complete.  Jose understands that the customers  needs change daily and  he is willing to switch equipment to fulfill those needs, even for work that may be undesirable to the rest of the fleet.  He is also the first one to ask about learning something new,  so he can pass the information and training along to his co-workers. He is a devoted 6^th day worker as well.  He works every other weekend that he doesn’t have his daughter, who he talks about often as his reason to do his best every day.  Jose is also one of the safest drivers on the fleet. Although the drivers don’t typically go more than 150 miles a day, he is closing in on almost 60,000 safe miles. There is no question who the leader of the fleet is. His contributions are recognized by office staff and resonate throughout the entire fleet.
