Northeast Region Driver of the Month October 2016

Please join me in congratulating Radcliffe Minto for being selected as the northeast region driver of the month for October 2016.  His management team published the following;

When we speak about what makes JB Hunt successful, you look no further then Radcliffe Minto and the stats he brings to the team is amazing. 22 years with the company. He is a senior trainer, who many on our fleet call him a mentor.  Radcliffe just passed the 2-million-mile accident free mark. Living in Bridgeport, CT the entire time, he earned those miles in the very congested Northeast I-95 corridor.

When asked how he achieved this milestone, his response was, “I respect the job.” When preparing to send him to Lowell AR, for the Million Mile Celebration event, his trainees and friends were asked about Radcliffe family life. Every driver stated the same thing: “Radcliffe is all business while at work.” When we followed up with Radcliffe about his peer’s statement, He laughed and said “In that truck, you need to keep your focus. That focus keeps you safe.”

When Radcliffe is not working, he is spending time with his family. He is the father of 7 children. Ages range from 8-23. His wife Virginia helps keep things going while Radcliffe works 6 days a week. 

For his selection Radcliffe's photo will be displayed throughout the region and at the company headquarters in Lowell Arkansas.  He will also be issued a certificate of achievement, a cash award and be considered for the prestigious driver of the year honer that will be decided in early 2017.   A well deserved employee to represent our group for October.  Congrats!
